Custom Wine Glasses for Restaurants & Bars

Laser-etched logo glasses that survive 1,500+ commercial dishwasher cycles. Built for nightly service.

The short version: Restaurants need different wine glasses than wedding events. The etching has to survive industrial dishwashers, the bowl shape has to fit your by-the-glass program, and the breakage replacement cycle has to be economical. We build all three.

Why restaurants and wine bars need different glassware

A restaurant wine glass goes through three to five service rotations per night, then a high-temperature commercial dishwasher cycle. Most printed or screen-decorated glassware fades visibly by cycle 200 — about three months of normal service. By month six the logo is unreadable and you’re looking at a $4,000 reorder you didn’t budget for.

Our restaurant-spec glasses use a laser-etched logo permanently fused into the glass surface. The etching is part of the glass itself, not a coating. It will outlast the glass — meaning the glass body usually breaks before the logo fades.

For the bowl shape we default to a 14oz universal Bordeaux for red-forward wine programs, a 12oz tulip for white-forward programs, and a stemless for casual/wine-bar service. We’ll match to your by-the-glass list during the design call.

FAQ

What glass shape works best for a by-the-glass program?

A universal Bordeaux at 14oz handles 90% of red and white pours and reduces SKU complexity. We default to this unless your program is wine-bar-focused.

Can the etching damage my dishwasher racks?

No. The etching is part of the glass surface — no protrusions, no abrasive edges.

How do we handle breakage?

We keep your artwork on file. Reorders ship in two weeks at locked pricing for 12 months.

What’s the minimum to launch?

25 glasses at Tier 4 pricing. Most restaurants start at 100-250 to land in Tier 3 where per-glass cost drops meaningfully.
