A stem exists for a reason. It keeps a hand off the bowl, which keeps a white wine at the temperature it was poured at, and it gives the glass the height that makes a laid table look finished. Everything else about the shape — bowl width, rim taper, total capacity — is a decision about which wine you are serving, and we will help you make it before anything is decorated.

The universal 16 oz bowl is what most orders end up on. It is wide enough for a red to open, narrow enough at the rim that a white still reads crisp, and it photographs well, which matters more than people admit when the glass is going to a wedding. Order the 13 oz white and the 19 oz red as a pair when the event has a real service, and the 23 oz grand when the glass is the centerpiece rather than the drink.

Decoration sits on the bowl face, roughly three inches square, centered about an inch above the widest point. Sandblast etching cuts a frosted mark into the glass that cannot wash off, chip or fade — it is the right call for anything a venue will keep.
